PB&J Banana Roll-Ups
Ingredients
- 1 large flour tortilla (whole wheat works great)
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)
- 1 tablespoon strawberry or grape jelly
- 1 banana
- Optional: honey drizzle, mini chocolate chips, granola
Instructions
- Lay the tortilla flat. Spread peanut butter evenly over the entire surface.
- Spread a thin line of jelly across the center.
- Place the whole banana along one edge of the tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla tightly around the banana, starting from the banana side.
- Slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Secure with toothpicks if sending in a lunchbox.
Recipe Tips
- Use a ripe but firm banana — too soft and it’ll squish when you roll.
- Spread peanut butter edge to edge — it acts as the “glue” that holds the roll together.
- For a treat version, add mini chocolate chips or a drizzle of honey.
- Use sunflower butter for nut-free schools.
