Greek Chicken Pita Wraps
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, butterflied thin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4 pita rounds
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- Crumbled feta
Instructions
- Season chicken with oregano, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Let rest 2 minutes, then slice.
- Warm pitas in the skillet or microwave for 15 seconds.
- Spread tzatziki generously inside each pita.
- Fill with sliced chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta. Fold and serve.
Recipe Tips
- Butterfly the chicken breasts (slice horizontally) for thinner pieces that cook faster.
- Store-bought tzatziki is perfectly fine — Trader Joe’s and Costco both make great ones.
- Add a handful of baby spinach or arugula for extra greens.
- These work great as meal prep — keep components separate and assemble at lunch.
