Prosciutto and Fig Flatbread

Prep: 3 mins Cook: 7 mins Total: 10 mins Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 naan or flatbreads
  • 3 tablespoons fig jam or preserves
  • 4 slices prosciutto, torn
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 2 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Honey drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread fig jam evenly on each flatbread. Bake 6-7 minutes until edges are golden.
  3. Remove from oven. Drape torn prosciutto over the warm flatbreads.
  4. Pile arugula on top and scatter goat cheese crumbles.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (and honey if desired). Slice and serve.

Recipe Tips

  • Add the prosciutto and arugula AFTER baking — heat wilts arugula and toughens prosciutto.
  • Fig jam is in the jam/preserves aisle. Trader Joe’s makes a great one.
  • Goat cheese can be swapped for burrata for an ultra-creamy version.
  • This works as an appetizer, light dinner, or party food.
