Prosciutto and Fig Flatbread
Ingredients
- 2 naan or flatbreads
- 3 tablespoons fig jam or preserves
- 4 slices prosciutto, torn
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- 2 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- Balsamic glaze
- Honey drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet.
- Spread fig jam evenly on each flatbread. Bake 6-7 minutes until edges are golden.
- Remove from oven. Drape torn prosciutto over the warm flatbreads.
- Pile arugula on top and scatter goat cheese crumbles.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze (and honey if desired). Slice and serve.
Recipe Tips
- Add the prosciutto and arugula AFTER baking — heat wilts arugula and toughens prosciutto.
- Fig jam is in the jam/preserves aisle. Trader Joe’s makes a great one.
- Goat cheese can be swapped for burrata for an ultra-creamy version.
- This works as an appetizer, light dinner, or party food.
